Our Classroom Pieces
Kindergarten at Becker Elementary is all day - every other day. Red Classes meet on Mondays and Wednesdays. Blue classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Fridays are usually alternating, unless a holiday changes the schedule.
This year there are 20 children in the Red class and 18 in the Blue class. One teacher assistant helps for 30 minutes in the morning, another teacher assistant helps once every two weeks in the afternoon for 1 hour. Every day the children have 20 minutes of music and 20 minutes of Phy Ed with specialists which provides prep time for the teacher. Both classes have library once a week for 20 with another specialist. Each class has a half-hour scheduled computer lab time each week with Mrs. Berthiaume.
