Ask questions about what kind of farmer this man is, what does he grow (compare to things farmers grow in New Hampshire). How is he dressed? Do you know anyone in NH who dresses like him? Why do you think he’s dressed this way? Do New Hampshire farmers have afternoon rest periods? Why, why not? Is it the same as the rest periods in Mexico? When students bring up the fact that its hot in Mexico, ask why. Where is Mexico (south of New Hampshire).

Evaluation:
The student can write a simple narrative.
