Wonderful Whales

We really, truly wish
You wouldn’t call us fish,
For we like to do
Some things just like you.
We breathe air through holes on top of our heads.
We take our naps in watery beds.
We keep our babies close, you know,
To drink our milk, so big they’ll grow.
We sing and call across the sea,
So friends will come and play so free.
We jump, and twist, and smack our tails.
Please keep us safe! We’re your friends the whales!
